Cord blood units are collected immediately after birth from consenting healthy donors by OrganaBio’s wholly owned subsidiary, GaiaGift. OrganaBio’s RUO and GMP CD34+ HSCs are isolated from high-quality, fresh cord blood units in Citrate-Phosphate-Dextrose anticoagulant solution. The industry-best processing time of under 24 hours ensures the highest possible quality.

The OrganaBio’s rigorous tissue collection and cell isolation protocols ensure the preservation of cellular integrity from collection to product delivery:

• Cord blood units must contain greater than 900 million total nucleated cells (TNC), with a viability of >99% for the unit to be deemed acceptable for manufacturing
• Purity and viability are guaranteed to be >80% post-thaw, with exceptional cell yield
